Christkindlmarkt to Celebrate German Traditions

Vendors, Organizers Needed for December Event

The Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures will present its second annual Christkindlmarkt in downtown Mesa on the first block of North Macdonald Street on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Christkindlmarkt – a celebration held throughout Central Europe – will bring cherished German and European traditions to Mesa with holiday entertainment, German and Austrian cuisine, vendors and local artisans selling merchandise like children’s toys and Christmas ornaments, and much more for the whole family! Admission will be free.

The event is not until December, but the Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures is currently seeking vendors whose merchandise fits with this theme. They could also use more help from downtown Mesa businesses and others in organizing this event.

If you would like to be a vendor or would like to help organize the Christkindlmarkt, please contact Wolfgang Klien at (480) 502-8510 or contact us through the website
