Events Overview

1) Springfest
This year we celebrated Springfest April 26 5PM at Haus Murphy's, a
local German restaurant, with live music, imported beer, authentic
food and a raffle.

2) Oktoberfest
The focus of the Old World Oktoberfest in the park is to celebrate the
German heritage and culture with the traditional "Gemuetlichkeit" and
entertainment with music groups directly from Germany. Local talent
will entertain you with traditional dances, and the special German
student dance group the DANK FUNKEN will perform their newest
repertoire.

3) Christkindlmarkt
The Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures will present its first annual
Christkindlmarkt in downtown Mesa on the first block of North
Macdonald Street on Saturday, Dec. 6 from noon to 10 p.m. The
Christkindlmarkt – a celebration held throughout Central Europe – will
bring cherished German and European traditions to Mesa with holiday
entertainment, German and Austrian cuisine, vendors and local artisans
selling merchandise like children's toys and Christmas ornaments, and
much more for the whole family! Admission will be free.

4) German-Language Movie Night: Monthly
On the second Saturday of the month join us for German-Language Movie
NIght. All films will be shown in German with subtitles in English
(unless otherwise noted). Please bring friends and family.

5) Geschaeftsstammtisch
Der deutschsprachige Geschäftsstammtisch findet einmal pro Monat an
wechselnden Lokalitäten im Raum Phoenix statt und bietet
deutschsprachigen Geschäftsleuten die Möglichkeit, in geselliger Runde
Kontakte zu knöpfen und zu pflegen. Die Teilnehmer haben auf jedem
Treffen die wertvolle Chance, sich und ihre Arbeit einem
interessierten Publikum vorzustellen. Ziel des Stammtisches ist es,
deutschsprachige Unternehmer und Firmen mit deutschsprachigen
Ansprechpartnern in Arizona besser kennen zu lernen und zu
unterstützen.
