Sankt Martins Umzug

We will meet on 16 November 2008 at the Desert Horizon Park(16030 N 56th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85254)between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m..As soon as the sun has set (5:30 p.m.) we will start our St. Martin’s procession.

The park is at the South-West corner of 56th St / E Paradeis Ln (=between Bell and Greenway). There is a police station at the entrance to the park / parking lot.Bring your lantern and sing with us!

If you still need a lantern and don’t want to make one yourself, you might be able to get one via the internet. As for the lighting: There are special lighted lantern rods (with battery). If you can’t get one of these (sold out?) you might want to try using a battery run tea light - as you can buy them for lighting pumpkins and Christmas decoration (e.g. at party city?)

Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages or glass containers as these are not allowed in the park!
